MNRAS Student Prize

At the Royal Astronomical Society National Astronomy Meeting held at Durham, I was awarded the Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society (MNRAS) Student Author Prize. This prize was awarded for my first first-author paper, An optically led search for kilonovae to z~0.3 with the Kilonova and Transients Programme (KNTraP).
Winners are decided by the expert Editorial board who vote based on the quality of research, the clarity of the paper, and the impact of the results.

Transients Down Under

The first Transients Down Under conference was held at Swinburne University of Technology in 2024. Alongside giving a contributed talk, I was part of the local organising committee, and designed the posters for this conference. With these posters we wanted to highlight Australia, Indigenous elements, as well as transient astronomy. See below for the materials I created!

OzGrav Achievement Award

At the 2023 OzGrav Annual Retreat, I was awarded runner-up of the Student Rising Star Award. The award celebrates students or postdocs which have shown exceptional promise and growth in their professional development within the research centre.

"Natasha is nominated for her significant achievements during her PhD, including awards, international collaborations, invited presentations, and successful telescope proposals. Her leadership in restarting the Journal Club, active engagement in outreach events, and contributions to teaching demonstrate her dedication and growth as a researcher, making her a deserving candidate for the award."
